Serbian Kajmak Dip

Ingredients

OPTION A:

  • 1 cup feta cheese
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened

OR:

OPTION B

  • 100g butter, softened
  • 100g danish feta
  • 100g cream fraiche

Directions

OPTION A

Press feta cheese through a sieve until most of the liquid has drained. Transfer feta to a mixing bowl. Add sour cream and cream cheese; beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until flavours blend, at least 30 minutes. Bring to room temperature before serving.

    OPTION B

    Whip the butter until pale and light. Add the feta and mix till smooth. Add cream fraiche and mix together – store in fridge until use.
